Job Description

Server/Bartender Job Description Servers/Bartenders must be affable and outgoing with a focus on genuine hospitality. This position represents the most direct contact with our guests that any single employee will have, and as such a Server must be solely focused on providing a relaxed and enjoyable experience with an air of courteous professionalism. Listed below are some of the basic day to day responsibilities and job expectations of a server/bartender. Please refer to the Employee Manual and our Service Standards and Expectations for a complete listing of job duties, responsibilities, policies and procedures. Responsibilities
  • Daily cleaning duties as required by management
  • Completion of all sidework, before, during, and after the shift as required by management
  • Running food and assisting in guest seating and greeting
  • Staying active and attentive to all guest's needs at all times Expectations
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while maintaining a calm composure and a friendly demeanor
  • Using good communication skills with and showing respect to all fellow employees and management
  • Demonstrating a solid knowledge of all food and beverage items offered in the restaurant
  • Fluently and efficiently navigating the restaurant's point of sale system
  • Coming to work on time, and with a positive attitude every shift
  • Demonstrating correct financial reporting and cash handling
  • Following all policies and procedures as listed in the Employee Manual.
All servers/bartenders will undergo a 5 day training period after which they will function under a 60 day probationary work period. During training, and before being allowed to work any post training shifts, all servers must complete and pass a Food/Menu Test, a Beverage Test, and a General Restaurant Knowledge Test. Additionally successful completion of training is dependent on performance approval of the restaurant's Designated Trainers and Managers.
