Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations. Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible serving practices are followed; recognize signs of intoxication and take appropriate action. Handle cash transactions efficiently, perform basic math calculations for change, and reconcile sales at shift end. Collaborate with team members during busy hours such as nightclubs or banquet events to ensure smooth service flow. Assist in setup and breakdown of bar areas for catering events or special functions like banquets or private parties. Uphold excellent customer service by actively listening to guest needs and providing personalized recommendations. Follow all food handling procedures and beverage preparation guidelines to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Experience Prior experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and cash handling. Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, responsible alcohol service laws, and food handling procedures. Experience in retail math or hospitality environments involving cashiering, brewing, catering, or food industry operations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours. Background in customer service roles that require active engagement, quick thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with serving techniques at high-energy venues like nightclubs or large-scale events such as banquets is advantageous.
