Summary Bristol Republic, opening soon in Bridge Park, is hiring bartenders to join our opening team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in high-volume bar environments, can multitask in a fast-paced space, and bring a fun, engaging, and energetic presence to the bar. Experience with Toast POS, high-volume bartending, and craft cocktail execution is strongly preferred. Candidates should feel comfortable working in busy crowds, engaging confidently with guests, and maintaining standards even during peak rushes. Responsibilities Greet each bar guest quickly and warmly, setting the tone for an upbeat and welcoming Bristol experience. Confidently recommend cocktails, whiskey selections, beers, and menu pairings. Execute cocktail recipes consistently and efficiently, following our standards for presentation and accuracy. Take orders using Toast handhelds or terminals with precision and speed. Maintain clean, organized bar stations, restock as needed, and uphold bar safety and sanitation standards. Manage tabs accurately, preauthorize cards, and close out checks correctly. Stay alert during high-volume moments and adapt to the pace while staying composed. Follow Steps of Service for bartenders and contribute to the energetic, fun environment Bristol is known for. Upselling & Guest Experience Actively suggest signature cocktails, whiskey flights, and sharables. Build genuine rapport to create memorable guest moments and encourage repeat visits. Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate to management when necessary. Requirements Previous experience in high-volume bars or restaurant/bar hybrids is preferred. Strong communication skills and a passion for great drinks, great food, and standout hospitality. Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and maintain standards during busy service. Works well in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Understanding of basic bar sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service. Experience with Toast preferred (handheld experience a plus).
