Job Description

Overview Looking for friendly people to join our team! We are predominantly a Breakfast & Lunch spot with evening hours on Fridays & Saturdays. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately while managing tabs efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends and guest preferences. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste through effective stock control. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours, special events, or banquets while ensuring smooth operations. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service. Food handling certification and adherence to food safety standards are required. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food safety knowledge are essential.
