Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and spirits with precision and flair Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance guest experience and promote specials Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods or banquets Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management skills Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, and food pairings Assist in bar management duties as needed, including inventory checks and restocking supplies Requirements Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, especially as a server or bartender Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking Extensive cocktail experience with expertise in mixology techniques and beverage recipe development Familiarity with fine dining service standards and catering or banquet experience preferred Knowledge of wine types, spirits, craft beer varieties, and beverage trends within the hospitality industry Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling procedures Food safety certification or knowledge of proper food handling practices is a plus Experience with hospitality management tasks such as bar management or supervising staff is advantageous Join us to be part of a lively team where your passion for hospitality shines!
