Job Description
Overview We are excited to announce we are opening a new waterfront restaurant/bar in the Port Clinton and Catawba area (the old Nagoya and Que). Join our vibrant team as a Bartender or Server and become the face of our unique new establishment ! We will strive to be an amazing place for food and drinks. Our Servers may their own cocktails, so no tipping out or waiting for someone to make your drinks. All candidates must be at least 21 years of age. Please feel free to respond with a resume or with hospitality experience for consideration. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote a welcoming environment Manage POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates to keep offerings fresh and exciting Handle cash transactions efficiently while processing payments accurately using POS systems; balance registers at shift end Qualifications Knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, mixology techniques, and beverage recipe development Familiarity with POS; proficient in food safety practices and basic math calculations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; catering or banquet experience is a plus Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for beverages meets your talent for creating memorable moments.
