In this energetic role, you'll support bartenders and venue staff by ensuring the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and running smoothly. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help maintain a lively, efficient environment where guests feel welcomed and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food and beverage industry while working in a dynamic nightlife or event setting. Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, glassware, garnishes, and bar supplies quickly and efficiently to keep service flowing seamlessly Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes promptly to uphold a tidy environment for guests Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, wine cases, or crates with proper safety procedures in place Support food preparation tasks when needed, including basic garnishing or assembling simple menu items Ensure adherence to all food handling and bar safety regulations to promote a safe environment for staff and guests Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy hours and special events Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or bar environments is highly desirable; bartending or bar experience is a plus Demonstrated ability in cleaning, bussing, and maintaining a sanitary workspace according to health standards Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, TOAST or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently Experience working in nightlife venues, fine dining, banquet halls, catering events, or hotel settings is advantageous Knowledge of food safety regulations and bar safety compliance standards Join us in delivering exceptional beverage service while building your career in the bustling world of hospitality!
