Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote beverage offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and supplies, adhering to food safety standards. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling with precision. Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to enhance the guest experience. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders when necessary, and minimizing waste. Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service operations to ensure smooth delivery of food and beverages in fine dining or banquet settings. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication. Assist in bar management duties during peak hours or special events like nightclub nights or catering functions. Stay informed about current trends in brewing, mixology, wine knowledge, and spirits to provide expert recommendations. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender with knowledge of cocktail mixing, beverage recipe development, and spirits expertise. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; ability to process transactions efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, banquet settings, or catering environments is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations. Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales and cash handling. Previous experience in hospitality industry roles such as food service or bar management is highly desirable.
