In this energetic role, you will lead the bar team, craft innovative cocktails, and deliver memorable dining experiences to our guests. Your expertise in beverage development, fine dining, and hospitality industry standards will drive our commitment to excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Duties Lead and motivate the bar team to deliver outstanding service, ensuring smooth operations during peak hours and special events Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair Develop and refine beverage recipes to enhance our menu offerings, incorporating current trends and guest preferences Manage cash handling, processing transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Oversee food service responsibilities, including serving food items, ensuring proper food handling procedures, and maintaining food safety standards Maintain inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies; place orders as needed to prevent shortages Ensure compliance with all health regulations and safety protocols related to food safety and alcohol service Assist in training new staff members on POS systems, cocktail techniques, customer service excellence, and responsible beverage service Skills Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in processing cash transactions efficiently Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, wine varieties, spirits, and brewing processes Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; adept at engaging guests and creating memorable experiences Prior experience in fine dining establishments or hospitality settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus Ability to lead a team confidently while fostering a positive work environment Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales, cash handling, and inventory management Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry Embark on an exciting journey where your leadership fuels vibrant social atmospheres!
