Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the culinary arts. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen staff efficiently. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to fine dining standards of presentation and service. Maintain knowledge of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery. Uphold cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Experience Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining establishments. Familiarity with culinary terms and techniques is advantageous. Proficiency in using POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and team members. A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene practices.
