Cowboys Bar & Grill is looking for a reliable, outgoing and hardworking full-time bartender to join our team! We're looking for someone who can provide great customer service while keeping up in a busy, fast paced bar and restaurant environment. Bartenders at Cowboys are expected to work well as part of a team, stay organized during high volume shifts and help keep the bar clean, stocked and running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine and other beverages Taking care of bar guests and providing friendly, attentive service Taking food and drink orders and accurately entering them into the POS system Checking IDs and following all OLCC alcohol service requirements Handling cash and card transactions Keeping the bar clean, organized and fully stocked Restocking liquor, beer, mixers, glassware and other supplies Completing opening, closing and cleaning duties Working with servers and other bartenders during busy shifts Maintaining a fun, welcoming, professional and safe atmosphere

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older due to the duties of this bartender position and OLCC restrictions regarding employees under 21 mixing drinks and working as bartenders Must have or obtain a valid Oregon Alcohol Service Permit before mixing, serving or selling alcohol Must be dependable and show up on time for scheduled shifts Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized Must be willing to work nights & weekends Bartending or serving experience is preferred but we are willing to consider the right person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
