Position:
BarbackResponsibilities
- Squeeze fresh citrus to the required standards
- Stock and set up the bar for smooth service operations
- Work independently to ensure preparedness before service hours
- Collaborate with teammates in both back of house and front of house
- Complete tasks related to stocking, replenishing, and maintaining bar cleanliness
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar area, including floors, tables, chairs, and walkways
- Wash and polish glasses and other serving equipment
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and wait staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 1 year of kitchen prep experience
- Flexible availability, including weekday evenings and weekends
- Ability to create a positive and friendly environment for every guest interaction
- Energetic approach to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting both the bar and kitchen
- Valid Multnomah County Food Handlers Certification and OLCC Permit
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility in scheduling, a passion for providing exceptional service, and proficiency in multitasking with attention to detail
- Reliable transportation for commuting.
Compensation
