About Us:

PROOF began as a Chicago-influenced pizza cart serving tavern-style pies and has now become a brick & mortar restaurant/sports bar, serving the Buckman neighborhood in SE Portland.

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and trustworthy bartender with very good working knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails. This is a role that will be multi-faceted: our bartenders conduct table service, engage with customers at the bar all while making drinks, as well as running food, clearing tables, and communicating with the kitchen. This is fast-paced at times, all hands on deck, and looking for energy to match that. We are becoming a neighborhood staple, and are looking for someone who want to help us continue fostering a warm, welcoming, collaborative, aware, and engaging environment. We are focused on sports, so an interest in sports would be preferred, but it is certainly not a requirement

• Must be 21+ years of age
• Current OLCC and Food Handlers cards
• 3-5 years experience is a must
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Organized and efficient with knowledge of Inventory mgmt, food safety labeling and open/close tasks
• Adaptable and able to take initiative with high level of effective communication

Availability:

30 hours/week with some full shifts (Open + Close duties) while others may include open and/or closing.
