Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as an Assistant Manager/Bartender, where your energy and expertise will elevate the guest experience! You'll be part of the face of our establishment, crafting memorable drinks, managing daily bar activities, and supporting a team dedicated to hospitality excellence. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep our offerings fresh and exciting for guests. Assist in managing bar operations efficiently using POS systems to process orders and transactions accurately. Oversee cash handling procedures, processing payments swiftly while maintaining accuracy. Count daily sales reconciliation and reports. Lead and motivate the bar team, providing training on mixology techniques, food safety protocols, and customer service excellence. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with health regulations; handle food safety and food handling responsibilities diligently. Assist with inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving deliveries, and tracking beverage supplies like spirits, wine, and craft beer. Support restaurant or bar operations during busy hours or special events such as banquets or catering functions. Ensure all team members adhere to food safety standards and alcohol service regulations at all times. Website and other technology items Skills Extensive knowledge of POS systems; proficient in cash handling and retail math. Proven experience in bartending with a strong foundation in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development. Prior experience in fast pace establishments Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude; ability to engage guests positively while maintaining professionalism. Leadership qualities to support bar management duties and team supervision effectively. Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and beverage industry best practices. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
