Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bartending, possess excellent customer service skills, and be knowledgeable in retail math and cash handling.Duties:
- Prepare and serve beverages to customers following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register or POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor alcohol consumption of guests to prevent over-intoxication
- Upsell additional beverages and menu items to increase revenue
Experience:
- Previous experience in bartending, preferably in banquet or fine dining settings
- Proficiency in retail math for handling transactions accurately
- Strong customer service skills to provide a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Knowledge of Restaurant Manager POS system is a plus
