Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and enhance their overall experience. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates to keep offerings fresh and exciting. Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor stock levels of spirits, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes; assist with inventory management. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication. Create a lively yet safe environment by managing bar flow during busy nights or nightclub events. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or large-scale event settings such as banquets or catering environments. Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, cocktail mixing techniques (mixology), and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently. Experience working in the hospitality industry with a focus on food handling, food safety practices, and responsible alcohol service. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts using excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of food industry standards related to beverage presentation, sanitation protocols, and cash handling procedures.
