Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dynamic NEW Bartender to join our team in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys their experience. You will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and providing exceptional service in a fine dining or nightclub setting. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices. Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry, payment processing, and inventory management. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, making recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining cash handling protocols. Assist with banquet events and catering services as needed, ensuring all beverage needs are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during food service operations. Stay informed about new products, trends in the food industry, and brewing techniques to enhance customer offerings. Requirements Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales reporting; familiarity with retail math is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the establishment's schedule.
