Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Maintain a well-stocked bar with supplies and ingredients
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve food if necessary
- Adhere to all food safety and beverage regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of mixing and serving drinks
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Basic math skills for handling cash, making change, and calculating bills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Knowledge of catering or event bartending is a plus
- Understanding of retail math for inventory management is preferred
- Hospitality mindset with a friendly and outgoing personality
