Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations based on preferences Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards Process cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in billing and cash handling Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed and tracking usage to minimize waste Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote safety Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events such as banquets or catering functions Stay informed about current trends in mixology, craft beer, wine knowledge, and spirits to provide expert guidance to guests Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality settings with a strong emphasis on customer service Demonstrated expertise in mixology techniques, cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, and spirits knowledge Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately Experience working with food safety standards and handling food or beverages responsibly Background in retail math, basic math skills for cash handling, and food industry procedures Previous roles involving bar management or supervising bar staff are a plus but not required Knowledge of brewing processes, craft beer varieties, wine types, and beverage trends is highly desirable Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining excellent service standards Join us if you're passionate about creating lively atmospheres where guests can unwind and enjoy expertly crafted drinks!
