Job Description

The restaurants of Peddler's Village are busy and in search of individuals with a passion for service excellence who enjoy guest service to join our Restaurant teams. Our unique location includes 3 dynamic Restaurants; casual family dining, fine dining and traditional American Cuisine. We have Part-time and Seasonal server, bartender host, busser, food runner positions available .
Requirements:
Excellent hospitality, communication and listening skills Ability to work with a team Availability to work days, evenings, weekends Ability to regularly lift and carry trays Must be 18 or older (for server & bartender positions) Must be 16 or older (for host, busser & food runner positions) Essential duties and responsibilities
Servers:
Sell food, explain menu items, and use selling techniques to increase check averages. Take food and beverage orders as instructed. Serve food and beverages to guests in the prescribed manner. Carry trays to and from the kitchen in a safe manner according to Tray Handling Guidelines. Maintain a positive attitude and a warm, friendly manner when interacting with guests and co-workers. Performs necessary tasks to serve guests and handle all guest requests Monitors guest needs on a continual basis Guides the guest through all phases of their experience Effectively communicates with the kitchen and management team Assists other personnel with maintenance (side work and opening/closing duties) as necessary Knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, non alcoholic selections, correct glassware and garnishes Must be at least 18 years old Responsibilities/Requirements Hosts Record names of "walk-in" guests on the reservation sheet and approximate waiting time. Greet guests on their arrival; make them feel welcome and comfortable. Show guests to their table, provide them with menus, and check tables to ensure they are set properly. Ensure equitable guest distribution of tables, referring to "Cover" counts. Assist with setting and bussing tables when necessary, according to standard. Respond to and answer guest's questions politely and responsibly. Answer incoming phone calls politely and professionally. Record guest reservations as needed and when instructed.
