Duties Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with enthusiasm and professionalism Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to recipes and presentation standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards Develop beverage recipes and assist in creating innovative drinks to enhance the guest experience Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while ensuring prompt service and attention to detail Handle cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery and ensure timely service for all guests Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption levels Assist with banquet or catering events as needed, providing excellent service in various settings Experience Proven food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment, preferably with fine dining or upscale establishments Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Extensive cocktail experience including mixology skills and beverage recipe development Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, and brewing processes; ability to recommend pairings to guests Experience with food safety practices, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude; ability to engage guests positively Demonstrated time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining quality service Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus; familiarity with hospitality industry standards is highly valued Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as totals, tips, and change-making Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences!
