Overview Brick and Brew in Media is seeking a bartender for our craft cocktail bar! We are seeking outgoing, responsible and crafty bartenders that can give our guests an exceptional experience they'll want to have everytime they're in town! Our bartenders utilize a strong knowledge of craft liquors, ingredients and mixes to provide outstanding drinks and bring an experience like no other! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and craft beers with precision and flair Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor beverage levels to ensure smooth service flow Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to keep our menu fresh and exciting Uphold responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal regulations at all times Requirements Proven experience in bartending, mixology, or food service within a hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, craft beer, and cocktail techniques; experience with beverage recipe development is a plus Familiarity with POS systems (Toast knowledge is a plus) Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours without compromising quality Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting Join us to bring your passion for hospitality to life!
