Do you enjoy making drinks and helping people to have a good, responsible time? Come join our team! We ask that you are able to provide outstanding customer service, and make the guests feel welcome every time they come in. Specifically looking for someone to fill daytime shifts (12-5pm), but night and weekend availability is highly preferred as well. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Engage with guests proactively to recommend drinks, answer questions about menu items, and create a friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Manage POS system efficiently as well as the credit card processor, for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for sales totals, tips, and change, while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and enforce legal drinking age regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff during dinner to ensure timely food service and seamless guest experiences. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques to uphold health standards. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately. Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends is highly preferred.
