JOB DESCRIPTION

Title:

Bartender/Server Summary of Position Moriarty's Restaurant and Bar bartenders bring our authentic atmosphere to life with our iconic 60-foot Irish bar, our wall of spirits in the backdrop, and our antique brass beer dispensers. You will craft every drink for our guests, from the classic martini to a perfectly poured Guinness Pint, while suggesting dishes to create the perfect pairing for our guests. Between mastering drink recipes, supporting our servers, and creating memorable guest experiences, your energy and commitment to excellence set the bar apart from all others within the city! We have a lot of decor and pride ourselves on being a very clean, dust free bar and we expect all of our employees to uphold this standard. Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements

• Be 21 years of age.
• Have a working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and standard drink recipes.
• Possess basic math skills, manage money, and operate a cash register.
• Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods (over 8 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 150 pounds. (Kegs) What we are looking for
• A multi-tasker: you can simultaneously hold a conversation, pour drinks, wash glassware, and care for your guests.
• You are comfortable with numbers; simple mental math is no problem.
• Prior bartending experience in a full-service restaurant is a plus.
• Skilled at reading the crowd and can anticipate our guests' needs; understands lighting and music selection. Dim the lights at night, no profane music.
• A can-do attitude: you tackle every task with a smile.
• Team player: you are always willing to give and ask for help.
