Reading Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunities part-time Snack Bar Attendant. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Snack Bar Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional beverage and light food service to members and guests both at our snack bar and on our mobile beverage cart. The ideal candidate will have bartending experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with club policies and state regulations. Operate the mobile beverage cart, ensuring prompt and friendly service to golfers on the course. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar and beverage cart, including restocking supplies as needed. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations. Engage with members and guests in a professional and friendly manner, enhancing their overall experience. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, reporting shortages to management. Assist with special events and club functions as needed. Adhere to all club policies, including responsible alcohol service and dress code requirements.
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in outdoor conditions when operating the beverage cart. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (for mobile cart operation). Must obtain and maintain any required alcohol service certifications per state law. Required Availability - Starting now through October 2026.
