Responsibilities:

Engage with each customer to make them feel welcome and comfortable. Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage menus and special events Set up properly to ensure maximum efficiency when busy Take beverage and food orders and enter into POS accurately Create drinks following house recipes and measures Follow all restaurant protocols for \"Washington House\" service Look for positive solutions to inevitable difficult situations Prepare checks and collect payment from guests Clean and sanitize appropriate areas in dining room and bar area to make sure each shift starts with a clean work space Work cooperatively with all front of house, back of house, hotel and theater staff to maintain a positive work environment at all times

Requirements:

Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast paced environment Willing & able to a mixture of bartending, serving and private party shifts Availability to work varied hours/days Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to lift and carry heavy plates, boxes and dining room tables and chairs when necessary Experience with building drinks, tending bar, maintaining a clean, well stocked, and efficient work area All of our employees work weekdays and weekends, and a combination of lunch and dinner shifts.
