Overview Comfort Inn Somerset is hiring a dependable, confident, motivated bartender for a guest oriented environment in a hotel setting. Must be available Wednesday thru Saturday from 5:00 pm to closing. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be comfortable working independently. Must have experience. In this dynamic role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages and provide exceptional customer service. Duties Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and related products Manage bar operations efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes; assist with stock replenishment and ordering as needed Handle cash processing securely, balance registers at shift end, and maintain accurate sales records Experience Proven experience as a bartender in a hospitality setting. Knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits industry trends Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests and create a lively atmosphere Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management and organizational skills Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
