Bartender New Trail Brewing Company | Williamsport, PA New Trail Brewing Company is looking for a full time bartender to join our Tasting Room team. We are looking for someone who wants bartending and hospitality to be a consistent, full time job. This position will typically work 30 to 40 hours per week and requires regular availability during afternoons, evenings, and weekends. The right person is dependable, outgoing, comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and genuinely interested in craft beer. Previous bartending experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Compensation $5.00 per hour plus tips Employee discount Free New Trail beer Responsibilities Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service to Tasting Room guests Pour and serve draft beer and other beverages Learn New Trail's beer portfolio and confidently talk with guests about our products Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar and Tasting Room Complete opening and closing responsibilities Clean and sanitize bar areas, equipment, glassware, and guest spaces Take out trash and complete routine cleaning duties Restock beer, merchandise, glassware, and other Tasting Room supplies Fold, organize, and restock merchandise Change and move kegs as needed Accurately operate the point of sale system and handle cash and credit card transactions Follow responsible alcohol service practices and all applicable Pennsylvania alcohol regulations Assist the Hospitality Manager and Tasting Room team with day to day operations as needed What We're Looking For Must be 21 years of age or older Available to work 30 to 40 hours per week Regular afternoon, evening, and weekend availability Strong attendance and reliability Friendly and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of guests Able to work efficiently during busy service periods Interested in craft beer and willing to continually learn about New Trail's products Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred, but not required RAMP certification or willingness to obtain certification after hire Able to work independently as well as part of a team Willing to take ownership of both guest service and the routine work required to keep the Tasting Room clean, stocked, and operating properly Physical Requirements This is an active position that requires significant time on your feet and regular physical activity throughout each shift. Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Regularly bend, reach, twist, squat, and perform repetitive movements Lift, carry, push, and move cases of beer, trash, supplies, and other materials Safely move and change beer kegs with appropriate equipment and assistance when necessary Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, handling trash, and cleaning bar and guest areas Work in both customer facing and back of house areas, including refrigerated and storage spaces Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
