In this role, you'll be the backbone behind the bar, supporting bartenders and ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. From restocking supplies to maintaining a clean and inviting environment, you'll play a key part in delivering an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Restock bar supplies including spirits, mixers, glassware, and garnishes to keep the bar fully equipped during service. Assist bartenders by preparing ingredients for cocktails and helping with basic drink assembly when needed. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth sales operations. Support food service by assisting with food handling and serving when necessary, especially during busy hours or events. Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management to prevent shortages. Follow all food safety and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality or food service is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or bar settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Knowledge of beverage recipes, mixology techniques, wine, spirits, and craft beer is desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest interactions. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems. Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and food industry calculations are essential.
