Lead Bartender Kendrick's Charleston, SC Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Program development Team development Attention to detail Mentoring Training & development Full Job Description Kendrick's is seeking an experienced Lead Bartender to help shape and lead the bar program for our new restaurant in Charleston. The Lead Bartender will be a central part of the guest experience and an important member of our opening team. Working closely with ownership and the management team, this person will help establish the standards, rhythm, and character of the bar from the ground up. We are looking for someone with a strong command of classic cocktails, genuine curiosity about spirits and ingredients, and an instinct for hospitality. The right candidate knows that great bartending is as much about reading the room and connecting with guests as it is about what is in the glass. Responsibilities will include leading bar service, maintaining consistency and quality, supporting cocktail development, managing bar organization and inventory, training and mentoring bartenders, and helping ensure the bar operates with the same care and attention to detail as the rest of the restaurant. The ideal candidate is confident without being performative, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and comfortable taking ownership of their space. We want someone who can build relationships with guests, lead a team, and contribute ideas as we establish Kendrick's bar program. This is an opportunity to join a family-owned restaurant at the beginning of its story and have a meaningful hand in shaping what the bar becomes. We are beginning the interview process now and anticipate bringing our Lead Bartender on board around the second week of November. Pay is BOE, hourly plus tips.
