Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations. Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and assist with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative. Handle cash handling duties responsibly, including processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions. Skills Proven experience in bartending with strong knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage recipes. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and sanitation standards within the food industry. Experience working in fine dining establishments or hospitality environments that emphasize high-quality service. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising quality. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and beverage cost control.
