Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
BARTENDER Thank you for your interest in HopNWich. As part of the locally owned and operated Coastal Concepts Hospitality, HopNWich was founded on the belief of taking care our staff first. HopNWich is looking for an experienced Bartender to provide an exceptional level of customer service. Bartenders will be responsible for preparing and serving classic and innovative drinks to customers while assessing their needs and preferences. Bartender's will maintain positive guest interactions while performing their job responsibilities with the aim to provide the best possible guest experience. Compensation for this position includes an hourly rate plus tips.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Plan and present bar menu while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the products offered Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age and identification requirements Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Follow proper cash handling procedures by maintain a house bank as well as collecting payments for all goods sold to guests Maintain active TIPS Certificate in order to determine a customer's level of consumption and whether or not to continue to serve Participate in mandatory monthly alcohol training provided as continuing education related to safely serving alcohol
Pay:
$4.00 per hour
