Part-time Description:
The Toptracer Range at the Robert Trent Jones golf course offers, a unique to Hilton Head, fully interactive golf entertainment experience suited for golfers and families of all golf playing levels. Guests enjoy delicious food, fun cocktails, music, and can watch the game while they compete in a variety of golf games, improve their skills or simply be introduced to the game of golf. You will be a part of the team whose job is to help Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort engage with all guest and create a memorable experience at the Resort and the Toptracer Range by serving and assisting guests during their visit.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ensure prompt opening and closing of the Toptracer facility. Prepare and present a clean, organized driving range area. Responsibilities may include blowing the range deck, cleaning tables, removing trash. Provide immediate attention to all guests upon arrival. Provide superior customer service to all members, guests and staff. Greet and welcome all patrons to facility. Assist guest in use of Toptracer technology. Maintain knowledge of the menu and the ability to serve with outstanding attention to detail Take orders of guests: suggest dishes; assist in drink selection; inform guests about food preparation details and daily specials. Interact with point of sale (POS) to place orders with kitchen: stay updated on current menu choices, specialties Place orders with kitchen: stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations; knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any item; communicating specific guest needs to cooks and bar staff. Maintain proper dining experience by efficiently delivering items, fulfilling guest needs, offering drinks, removing soiled dishes, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses. Responsible for reservation management, over-the-net management, and guest services. Responsible for range ball maintenance and distribution of clean, range balls to guests. Maintain proper dress code and present a pleasant attitude at all times. Obtain revenues; issue receipts; accept payments; return accurate change. Handle all cash and credit card charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures. Perform clean-up and closing duties as defined by management. Accurately complete tip declaration form daily. Advise supervisor of all complaints and/or resolutions as soon as they occur. Serve as a source of information for the guests and to put them at ease. Promote other company amenities at every opportunity. Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Weekend availability a plus
  • ServSafe Alcohol Training Certificate and License required, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Previous serving / bartending / beverage cart experience preferred but not required High school diploma or equivalent preferred Basic understanding of touchscreen enabled technology is required. Basic golf knowledge is a plus. Excellent communication, time management and organization skills Positive interpersonal skills required Must speak English fluently and be able to read/write in basic English Physical Requirements Ability to speak and hear Close and distance vision Identify and distinguish colors Frequent walking with some standing at times Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly Working Conditions Primarily outdoor setting in all weather conditions. Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates
