Job Description
Corner House Restaurant , located in Summerville, SC , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Bartender ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records Maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager Perform opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize Point of Sale system Review banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events Serve catered parties from service or portable bars Occasionally serve meals to guests Incorporate safe work practices in job performance Perform other duties as required High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be at least 21 years of age to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
