Description As Catering Event Staff and/or Event Bartending , you will on a team during off-premise catering events with responsibilities through all facets of preparing and hosting an event. Events include, but are not limited to, weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, parties, and oyster roasts. This is a permanent, part-time/full-time position where you can learn, have fun, and earn extra income. Desired applicants are reliable, ethical, honest self-starters with leadership skills who possess positive, pro-active, can-do attitudes. Responsibilities Arrive on time Assist with the packing of equipment according to checklist and contract Ensuring the truck is loaded with proper food/drinks/equipment Ensuring the event runs smoothly and according to timeline.

This includes:

Contacting client on site Making sure food or is prepped and served in a safe and timely manner Completing clean up at the end of the event (varies depending on event/venue) Qualifications Requires at least 1 year of experience in the food and beverage industry Ability and willingness to work weekends and evenings Ability to lead and manage a team of people effectively and fairly Driven, natural leader with strong communication skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure Proficient in multitasking with a high level of attention to detail Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service Ability to uphold and maintain an effective and positive working environment Ability to stay on task while efficiently keeping others on task Forward thinker with the ability to prioritize and plan ahead Must possess grit and determination Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Ability to work long hours and a flexible schedule 10-45 hours a week Weekends and Evenings Required, Weekdays as Available Flexible scheduling
