Part-Time, Year-Round Job Summary:
In this role, you'll craft beverages, serve guests at concerts, banquets, special events, and meetings at The Monument. The role contributes to creating a positive guest experience by delivering quality products and professional service in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy, speed, and a welcoming attitude. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests feel valued and cared for. Take and process orders promptly and efficiently using POS system, handling payments and making correct change. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each shift. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and event staff to ensure smooth service. Follow all alcohol service laws and safe food practices in preparation, handling, and storage. Assist with setup, service, and cleanup of events and banquets as needed. Assist in inventory and standard procedures at beginning and end of shift.
May be asked to support additional food and beverage operations, including catering, concessions, and banquet service, as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age or older, required. Previous bartending, serving, or hospitality experience preferred. Serv-Safe or TAM Certification preferred, but not required
Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
Work Environment:
Duties are performed in fast-paced work environment (bar, banquet, and concession areas) both indoor and outside with exposure to high levels of noise and large crowds. Standing and walking for long periods of time, including navigating stairs or ramps. Occasional contact with outdoor elements near entrances or exterior areas. Exposure to flashing lights, amplified sound, theatrical effects, and pyrotechnics during certain performances or events. Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
