opening soon here in Chattanooga TN. We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Bartender to elevate our beverage service and create memorable experiences for our guests. As a key leader behind the bar, you will oversee daily operations, assist in crafting innovative cocktails, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your expertise in beverage preparation, bar management, and team leadership will drive the success of our hospitality environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mixology skills while guiding a talented team in a vibrant, fast-paced setting. Duties Lead and motivate the bartending team to deliver outstanding service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Develop and refine beverage recipes, including cocktails, wine pairings, and craft beer selections to enhance guest satisfaction. Manage bar inventory, place orders, and monitor stock levels to ensure availability of ingredients and supplies. Oversee cash handling, processing transactions accurately through POS systems. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, alcohol service laws, and health standards across all bar operations. Train staff on proper bartending techniques, customer service skills, POS usage, and responsible alcohol service. Collaborate with management on scheduling, event planning (like banquets or club mixers), and special promotions to boost sales. Requirements Proven experience in bartending with a strong background in mixology, spirits knowledge, wine expertise, and cocktail creation. Prior leadership experience as a lead bartender or bar manager within the hospitality industry. Familiarity with POS systems. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours while maintaining quality standards. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle difficult situations professionally. Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and beverage recipe development. Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs or banquet settings is highly desirable. Pay:
$8.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
