Join the Vibrant Team at Varsity Pins in The City Forum! Varsity Pins at The City Forum is looking for an energetic, personable Bartender who enjoys creating great drinks and memorable guest experiences. This part-time role is ideal for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, communicates confidently, and takes pride in keeping an organized and welcoming bar. Position Details
  • Part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Nights, weekends, and holidays required, except Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
Pay:
$3.15-$15 per hour
  • Paid training provided What You'll Do
  • Welcome guests and provide attentive, friendly service
  • Present beverage menus and make knowledgeable recommendations
  • Verify identification and legal drinking age
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages using standard recipes
  • Process transactions and handle cash accurately
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible-service procedures
  • Restock beverages, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly arranged bar
  • Balance the register at the beginning and end of assigned shifts
  • Follow all safety, alcohol-service, and company standards
  • Report safety concerns or inappropriate conduct promptly What We're Looking For
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, standard drink recipes, and bar equipment
  • Bartending or related hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain the required TABC/alcohol-server license within 30 days of employment
  • Friendly, confident, and professional communication
  • Strong organization, memory, and time-management skills
  • Accurate cash-handling and basic math skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy guest-facing environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 30 pounds Appearance Standards Because this is a guest-facing position, employees must follow Project 2231 appearance standards.
Unnatural hair colors are not permitted. Facial piercings are limited to one nostril piercing; other facial piercings must be removed or replaced with a clear retainer while working. Gauged ears must be filled and may not exceed 19mm. Face and neck tattoos may not be visible.
