Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and standards. Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations. Manage cash transactions efficiently while processing payments and handling cash safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks during busy service periods. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by monitoring guest consumption and preventing over-serving. Assist with bar management duties when needed, including inventory control and stock replenishment. Create a lively atmosphere by engaging guests in a friendly manner while maintaining professionalism. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending or serving within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with craft beer trends, spirits, and beverage presentation techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently. Experience with food handling, food safety protocols, and proper sanitation practices. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods using strong organizational skills. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing. Previous experience in banquet or catering environments is a plus. Knowledge of restaurant operations including food service procedures and bar management practices is highly desirable.
