Overview Smoky Mountain Sips at Gatlinburg SkyPark is a vibrant and welcoming bar that offers breathtaking views and a unique drink experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
  • Drink Preparation and Service:
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
  • Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative drinks.
  • Serve drinks promptly and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
  • Customer Service:
  • Greet customers warmly and provide friendly and attentive service.
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
  • Answer questions about the drink menu and make recommendations.
  • Bar Maintenance:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces.
  • Restock bar inventory and supplies, ensuring all items are available and in good condition.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, notifying the Supervisor of any shortages.
  • Cash Handling:
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate cash register records.
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Adhere to all local and state laws regarding the sale and consumption of alcohol. Ensure the bar complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor guest behavior and manage any unruly or intoxicated customers responsibly.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in training new staff members as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment. Qualifications Required current and valid ABC card from the TABC or ability to aquire in the first 30 days. Previous bartending experience preferred. Certification from a bartending school is a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
