Duties Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing equipment regularly Restock bar supplies such as liquor bottles, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils to ensure seamless service Assist with food preparation tasks like garnishing drinks and preparing simple snacks or bar bites when needed Support bartenders by bussing empty glasses, collecting used dishes, and clearing tables promptly Help with food handling and safety procedures in accordance with health regulations Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling and order processing when required Ensure all food industry standards are met during service, including proper food handling and hygiene practices Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during high-volume hours Support catering events or banquet setups by providing timely assistance in serving or clearing Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS is a plus Strong cleaning skills and knowledge of food handling safety standards are essential Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and guests Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks confidently Prior barista experience or serving background is beneficial but not mandatory Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and professionalism Knowledge of the food industry and catering operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role
