Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated effectively Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend wine pairings or specials, and upsell items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety protocols Manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills during busy service periods Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation and food handling best practices Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Ability to manage time effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations in the food industry Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles, or food industry roles that emphasize guest interaction and service excellence Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
