Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking energetic and personable Servers and Bartenders to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service to guests while expertly preparing and serving food and beverages. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and drinks promptly with a friendly attitude Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately Upsell menu items by recommending drinks and food pairings to enhance guest experience and increase sales Handle cash transactions responsibly, process payments accurately, and give correct change Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions Bartenders will also: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards Skills Proven experience in food service, bartending, or hospitality industry roles with a focus on customer service excellence Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing Extensive cocktail-making skills with familiarity in beverage recipe development and mixology techniques Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, and beverage trends Ability to manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills Experience in food safety practices, proper food handling, and maintaining cleanliness standards Excellent math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and basic accounting tasks Strong communication skills combined with a positive attitude to deliver memorable guest experiences Bartenders must have a minimum of 2 years bartending experience. All Servers and Bartenders must have or obtain within 30 days a TABC certification to serve alcohol.
