Keyholder / Bartender

We are looking for a new member to join our ever growing organization for Keyholding Bartender of The Wheel. The Wheel is a unique blend of craft cocktails and volume bartending. An intimate bar atmosphere with a beautiful patio and the capability to turn fast pace at any given hour of the day. The Wheel excels at providing a welcoming experience for their everyday regulars, as well as servicing those exciting corporate happy hours, pre and post Moody show meet-ups, and more. As a Keyholding Bartender you will expected to fill in as captain of the venue on day to day activities. In addition you will perform functions such as COG speculation, and ensuring overall operation effectiveness. We are also a vinyl bar! so music enthusiasts are a plus!!!

Keyholding Bartender Duties Include:

Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Lead and manage the front of house team to promote professionalism, teamwork, and guest satisfactionMaintaining comps and spills and keeping an eye on COG'sAssisting the marketing team by providing content for social media and helping to coordinate eventsEnsuring the Points of Service Expectations (as laid out in the Bar Employee Handbook) are metRegular end of night duties such as the completion and submission of DSRs and daily notes.

Keyholding Bartender Requirements:

TABC / Food Handlers certified Ability to work in a fast paced environment Leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire Problem solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidaysStrong attention to detail and organizational abilities Hourly decided upon experience / plus tip share.

The Wheel is owned and operated by FBR Management which also operates: DuMonts Down Low, Gibson Street Bar, Lavaca Street Bar, Lala's Little Nugget, Midnight Cowboy, Mean Eyed Cat, Sign Bar, Star Bar and Dive Bar.
