Job SummaryAs a Sommelier, you will be responsible for curating and delivering an exceptional wine experience that enhances each guest s dining journey. You will serve as a knowledgeable resource for guests and staff, guiding wine selections, maintaining the wine program, and upholding the highest standards of hospitality.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Help curate and maintain the restaurant s wine program, including selection, organization, and inventoryProvide thoughtful wine recommendations tailored to guest preferences and menu offeringsEducate guests and staff on wine varietals, regions, pairings, and tasting notesEnsure proper storage, handling, and service of wine according to standardsCollaborate with culinary and service teams to enhance overall guest experienceMaintain standards of food and beverage quality and serviceAnticipate and address guest needs and concerns with professionalism and warmthCommunicate effectively with management regarding wine inventory, trends, and guest feedbackComplete all side work and administrative tasks as assignedMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Advanced knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage service requiredPrior experience as a Sommelier or in a wine-focused service role preferredSommelier certification CMS, WSET, or equivalentExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills requiredAbility to stay calm and work efficiently under pressureAbility to manage time, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectivelyActive TABC Certificate requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent required
