Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Process cash transactions accurately using Toast, ensuring proper handling of cash and credit payments. Develop and suggest beverage recipes to diversify offerings and cater to guest preferences. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote safety. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage presentation. Proficiency with Toast POS system. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during high-volume periods. Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly attitude that encourages guest loyalty. Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Ability to develop new beverage recipes and adapt offerings based on guest preferences. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a hospitality environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food industry familiarity.
