Job Overview Join our team as a Barback, where you'll be the backbone of our bar operation, ensuring a smooth and lively experience for both guests and staff. As a key support role, you'll assist bartenders by maintaining a clean, organized bar area, restocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with food service bar safety standards. Your energetic attitude and attention to detail will help create an inviting atmosphere that keeps our patrons coming back for more! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food and beverage industry while working in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Keep the bar area spotless by performing regular cleaning and sanitation of surfaces, glassware, and equipment. Assist with bussing tables and clearing empty glasses or dishes to maintain a tidy environment. Restock bar supplies such as garnishes, liquor bottles, mixers, and utensils efficiently to support bartenders during busy hours. Handle manual tasks like heavy lifting of crates or boxes of supplies safely and correctly. Support bartenders by cutting/preparing garnishes as needed, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly. Skills Basic cleaning skills with an eye for sanitation and organization. Experience in bussing, bar cleaning, or food service roles is preferred but not required. Ability to handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Knowledge of venue beverage service procedures and food industry standards. Communication skills to collaborate with coworkers and serve guests effectively.
