Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate cash register and handle customer payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor and ensure compliance with alcohol serving guidelines and laws
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns promptly
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
Experience:
- Previous experience as a bartender is required
- Proficient in using the Toast system or similar point-of-sale software is a plus
- Strong knowledge of basic math for calculating drink prices, handling cash, and making change
- Familiarity with retail math for inventory management and ordering supplies
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and practices
