About us Madera Estates is a Spanish and European inspired luxury wedding and event venue located in Conroe, TX.
POSITION TITLE
Bartender HOURS:
Part-Time, Weekends & Evenings
LOCATION
Madera Estates, Conroe TX PAY:
$14 per hour plus tips
POSITION SUMMARY
Bartenders will be responsible to prepare and serve drinks to customers. Are able to mix and match ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with customers' needs and expectations. The purpose of this position is to interact with the guests and ensure they have a great experience at the Bar. Bartenders should maintain positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Set-Up the bar and ensure that it is fully equipped with the tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests. Ensure the bar is set with the correct alcohol and quantities ordered. Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays. Present the bar menu. Fully comply with TABC procedures for serving alcoholic beverages. Interact with customers, take orders for drinks. Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with venue recipes. Serve wine and beer to guests. Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations. Serve customers in a fast, friendly and helpful manner. Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol and if required refusing any further serving in a polite way. Keep management informed. Perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping. Keep the bar counter and work area neat and clean at all times. Clean up after customers and clean the work area. Wash glassware and utensils as needed. Maintain liquor inventory by counting and reporting the remaining alcohol at the end of the shift. Comply with all food and beverage regulations Break down the bar and clean the work station. Includes taking out the trash, wiping the counters, and mopping the floor. Perform Other duties as and when assigned by the manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 21 years of age High School diploma or equivalent required 1 year of bartending experience required Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. Must have stamina, must be able to stand/walk for several hours at a time Must have reliable transportation
