Job Summary Charlie's Tavern is opening up our newest location in Desoto on Saturday, Sept 12th! We looking to build a team of service oriented individuals to make our brand new location a huge success! We consider ourselves an elevated sports bar that offers a wide selection of food and craft cocktails. In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your expertise in beverage preparation, food service, and customer engagement will contribute to creating a lively, memorable atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and customer preferences Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining and drinking experience Manage POS systems, Shift 4, for processing orders and cash transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to elevate the guest experience Handle cash register operations, process payments efficiently, and balance cash drawers at shift end Assist with food service duties when needed, including serving meals and managing catering or banquet events Qualifications Proven experience in bartending or food service within restaurant, bar or hospitality settings Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, wine varieties, and spirits Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Join us to be part of a vibrant team where your enthusiasm fuels memorable moments!
